Is this site official?
No. It’s an unofficial fan site, not affiliated with Renegade Game Studios or Matt Dinniman.
Do I need the books to play?
Your GM does. Players can start with this site and a character sheet, but the rules here are summaries. The Starter Set covers Floors 1 and 2; the Core Rulebook covers Floors 3–5.
How is my crawler number assigned?
When you register, the site picks a random, unique number between 500,000 and 12,900,000 and skips numbers belonging to characters in the books. It never changes.
Does the GM roll dice?
GMs don’t roll d20 Checks. Mobs and NPCs are turned into Difficulties that players roll against, so the dice stay in the players’ hands.
Can I play an animal?
If your GM allows it, one crawler per group can be an Earth animal, giving up their starting AI Favor.
How do I find a game?
Use Find a Game to search by distance, or post your own table.
